As a solo freelancer, I wear all the hats and do #allthethings, and there is pretty much always a never-ending list of to-do's. Interested in quitting your 9-5 and starting a freelance gig? I'm sharing why I started freelancing and why I believe freelancing has more job security than a 9-5 job. 

Alright, now before I get started, I just want to acknowledge the fact that I know that not all of you are going to agree with me on this topic, and that's okay! I should also mention right now that the second half of this post is NOT for you if you currently have a 9-5 job that you love. Now I know that not everyone is wanting to start their own business, nor should they: it's not for everyone. This is just what I believe, and I would love to share why I believe it with you :)

Now that we are already more than a month into 2016 (wait, what?), I am taking a good, hard look at my goals for the year. I'll admit, some of them are pretty hefty, but I've already achieved one of my biggest goals, which was to rebrand my business, and that has truly inspired me to keep working toward the other big items on my list. I mentioned in my previous post that I would be going more in-depth on my goals for 2016, so here we go! Hello and welcome to Letter Lane Design Studio!

I am so, so glad you’ve stopped by. :) I just want to officially introduce myself to you, share why I’m here and what I want for myself and my business in the future.

WHO I AM

So, to start off, my name is Brittany Nicole Russell (previously Ehlers), and I own Letter Lane Design Studio where I offer hand lettering, calligraphy and design services to other creatives and small business owners. The previous name of my business was Brittany Nicole Design, which you may or may not recognize. I recently completely rebranded my business, and this is my very first blog post! I am so excited to share with you some things about myself and my business.
