Hi there! I am so glad you’ve stopped by! My name is Brittany Russell, and I'm a wedding stationery designer and calligrapher currently residing in Omaha, NE. I own a little studio I've lovingly titled Letter Lane where I offer a wide variety of services including: custom wedding stationery and calligraphy, hand lettered signage, hand lettered logos and more. I also love taking on custom projects!
I can't remember a time when I wasn't in love with design, whether it be color, letters, layout, anything! I was doodling on things constantly as a child, and I always had to hand-make greeting cards for family and friends. That love for colors, typography and design has stuck with me, all the way from childhood through college, and now I'm building my dream of owning my own calligraphy, hand lettering and design business. After designing my own wedding invitations last year, I fell in love with wedding stationery, which is now the main focus of my business.
I graduated from Northwest Missouri State University in May of 2014 with a degree in Applied Advertising, which is basically graphic design with an emphasis in advertising. I’ve held several graphic design internships, worked on many freelance projects and now currently hold a position as a graphic designer for a large newspaper.
I spend my evenings and weekends with my sweet husband, Matt, and our two tuxedo kitties, Sebastian and Bella. When I'm not working on my business, I enjoy getting lost in an amazing book, watching movies, and spending time outside.
Letter Lane Design Studio was built as a result of my passion for weddings and with the idea of working with brides and couples who want to add a unique and beautiful touch to their special day through custom stationery and calligraphy. My ultimate goal is to create something beautiful that brings pure joy to your wedding or event. I can’t wait to hear from you and find out how I can create something amazing for your big day.
Interested in working with me? Feel free to reach out and we can get your project rolling!
